Embark on an Exhilarating Fishing Expedition through the Serene Krishna River Basin
It was a beautiful day to be out on the water here in Tudki, Shivamogga. The Krishna River basin was calm and the weather was cooperating, with just a few scattered clouds overhead. As I pulled up to the meeting spot, I could tell our guest Soundarya was excited to get started on our fishing adventure.
We covered a lot of ground during our time on the water, trying out a variety of different techniques to see what the fish were keying in on. I started us off with some deep sea and jigging action, working the drop-offs and wrecks to see if we could find some bigger predators. While the bite wasn't red hot, we did manage to hook into a few nice fish that put up a good fight. After that, we switched gears and tried our hand at some trolling, fly fishing, and bait casting, covering a range of depths and water columns to see what the fish were feeding on.
Though we didn't manage to land any big prize catches, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the scenery and good company. The storms held off, which allowed us to keep on the move and stay versatile in our approach. In the end, it was just a relaxing day on the water—no pressure, no big expectations, just an opportunity to get out there and do what we love. That's the best part about these trips, getting to share the experience with fellow anglers and create lasting memories, whether we fill the cooler or not.
