The waters off Block C, AECS Layout were primed for adventure today. As I set out with Pooja Kundu, the conditions were perfect - clear skies, calm seas, and the promise of an incredible array of fish just waiting to be caught. With a full arsenal of techniques at our disposal, including deep sea, jigging, trolling, bow fishing, fly fishing, and more, we were ready to tackle whatever the ocean had in store.
From the moment we hit the water, the action was non-stop. Pooja was an absolute natural, deftly working the light tackle and heavy gear with equal skill. The first fish to hit the deck was a real showstopper - a powerful, silver-flanked predator that had Pooja's adrenaline pumping. She handled that shark with such poise, maneuvering it alongside the boat before we could snap a few breathtaking photos.
As we continued our journey, the variety of species we encountered was truly amazing. Sleek bluefish and feisty striped bass put up incredible fights, their runs and aerial acrobatics thrilling us to the core. And just when we thought the day couldn't get any better, Pooja hooked into a truly majestic fish - a massive tuna that had us all cheering as she expertly worked it to the boat.

As we reluctantly headed back to shore, I could tell that Pooja was already planning her next trip.
