Diverse Fishing Odyssey: Navigating the Kaveri River Basin

It was another great day out on the water with shrunga, taking them on a Rock Sea trip at Butler Beach. March is a prime time to experience the diverse fishing opportunities in the Kaveri River Basin, with clear conditions throughout the day. We got an early start, meeting up at Butler Beach around 4:00 am to make the most of the day.

As we headed out, we were able to try a bit of everything - deep sea, jigging, trolling, bow fishing, fly fishing, ice fishing, bait casting, heavy tackle, kite fishing, light tackle, spey fishing, surf casting, drift fishing, and even some spearfishing. The varied techniques gave us the chance to target a wide range of species, but though we didn't manage to land any big prizes, we still had a fantastic time. The Kaveri River Basin is just teeming with life, and it's always a thrill to see what might hit the line next.

Between the diverse fishing options and the beautiful scenery, it was a well-rounded experience. The weather was perfect, the water was calm, and we were able to really soak it all in.
