Epic King Mackerel Battle: Butler Beach Fishing Frenzy in May

Hey there! Just got back from an awesome fishing trip out on Butler Beach in Florida. It was a killer day out on the water with kum from Ray Chaters. We kicked things off at 3:00 pm for our Rock Sea adventure. May's a sweet time to hit the water here - the fish are active and the weather's usually spot-on.

We mixed it up with some trolling, bottom fishing, and live bait fishing. The King Mackerel were biting like crazy! Kum managed to reel in a beauty - 27 inches of pure fight. That fish gave us a run for our money, but we got it in the boat. We also hooked into some Brook Trout and Bull Trout, which was a nice surprise. The clear conditions made for some great fishing, and we had a blast trying different spots and techniques.

The Kaveri River Basin was looking prime. The water was just right for the fish we were after. We bounced around a bit, finding some sweet spots where the fish were really hitting. It's always cool to see how different techniques work in different areas. Kum picked up the tricks pretty quick, and before long, we were hauling in fish left and right.
