Shrunga scores big with peacock bass using proven techniques!
Hot bite and happy crew! Shrunga joined us for a fall morning trip starting mid-morning with clear conditions throughout the day. Water conditions at Butler Beach were perfect for what we had planned, and we were ready to get lines in the water with Ray Chaters for some solid inshore action.
Once the stage was set, we focused on bottom fishing and jigging techniques that work so well in these Florida waters. Shrunga picked up a nice Peacock Bass using our drift fishing approach, and the bite was hot when we found the right spots! Florida's inshore waters are perfect for this type of fishing because the structure holds fish consistently, and techniques like jigging really produce results down by the glades. We wrapped up the trip with great smiles and tight lines all around!
