It didn't take long before the fish started to bite, and we were quickly hooked up with some feisty Mahi Mahi. These fish put up an incredible fight, carving up the water and giving us an adrenaline rush with every jump and run. In between the Mahi, we also managed to land a few other species, including some nice fish we spotted while bow fishing. The variety of techniques allowed us to really cover the water and target different types of fish.

The day had a great flow to it, with plenty of action mixed in with some relaxed moments to take in the scenery and enjoy the company. Between the bites, we had the chance to chat and share stories, which is all part of the experience for me. Seeing the excitement on the angler's face when they hook into a nice fish, then watching them battle it to the boat – that's what makes these trips so rewarding. And of course, being out on the water, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Kaveri River Basin, is always a treat.
