River Fishing Adventure in Kaveri: Trout, Sharks, and Stunning Scenery

It was a fantastic day out on the Kaveri River Basin with our guest, shrunga h, for some river fishing. February is a great time to target trout and sharks in this region, as the weather is clear, and the fish are actively feeding. We met up at Butler Beach bright and early at 7:00 am, got our gear ready, and wasted no time heading out.

Once on the water, we started working the river, trying a mix of fishing techniques. It didn't take long before the action started heating up - shrunga h hooked into a nice Brook trout, putting up a solid fight before we landed it. A little later, the rod doubled over again, and this time it was a feisty Blacktip shark on the line. That fish gave us a run for our money, but we eventually brought it boatside for a quick photo before releasing it. The fishing was steady throughout the day, and we had a great time targeting these two exciting species.

The clear conditions and beautiful surroundings made for an even more enjoyable experience. Between bites, we could take in the stunning Kaveri River Basin scenery and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect balance of fast-paced action and relaxing time on the water.
