Reel in a Diverse Catch and Unwind on the Gulfshore's Inshore Waters
It was a mixed bag sort of day on the water, but we had a great time fishing the inshore waters of Jacksonville. The weather was partly cloudy, but the Kaveri River Basin provided us with plenty of opportunities to target a variety of species.
We caught Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Striped Bass, and even a couple of sharks - an Atlantic Sharpnose and a Sand Tiger. The Goldfish was an unexpected catch, but the group got a good laugh out of it. It was nice to see such a diverse range of fish come in throughout the day.
The fishing was steady, and everyone had fun reeling in their catches. It was a relaxed and easygoing trip, perfect for anglers of all skill levels. I always enjoy sharing my local knowledge and helping folks have a great day on the water.
