Hunt with Ray: White-Tailed Deer & Coyote in Florida, NY

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Shrunga and their crew joined me for a summer hunt in Florida, NY. We headed out mid-morning with partly cloudy skies and storms brewing on the horizon. Ray Chaters had another solid Hunt with Ray adventure lined up.

With our gear rigged and ready, we mixed spot-and-stalk with some stand hunting to cover our bases. The white-tailed deer were moving well, and we managed to take a nice buck. A coyote also came within range during our still hunting session. Florida, NY gives us that perfect mix of open ground for spotting and thick cover where the deer like to bed down.

We wrapped up before the weather turned, and everyone was grinning ear to ear. The diverse terrain around here makes it ideal for switching between techniques as conditions change throughout the day.
