Battling the Elements: A Kaveri River Fishing Adventure

I had a great day out on the water with shrunga from Ray Charters for our Galibore Fishing trip. We headed to Butler Beach, ready to try our luck in the Kaveri River Basin. The weather was a bit tricky, with partly cloudy skies and some rain, but that didn't dampen our spirits. The Kaveri River is always an adventure, and I was excited to show shrunga some of my favorite spots.

We started off with some bait fishing, hoping to entice the fish with some tasty morsels. As we moved along the river, we switched it up with some spin casting and float fishing. I always like to mix up the techniques to see what's working best on any given day. The rain made things a bit challenging, but it also stirred up the water, which can sometimes get the fish more active. We kept at it, moving to different spots and trying different baits.

Despite our best efforts, the fish weren't biting today. But that's just how it goes sometimes - even on the toughest days, there's always something to learn out on the water. We used the time to work on shrunga's casting technique and talked about reading the river. Even without any catches, it's always a good day when you can improve your skills and knowledge. The Kaveri River Basin is a beautiful place, and just being out there, watching the water and listening to the sounds of nature, is a reward in itself.
