Ray Chaters delivers epic dolphinfish action in Kaveri waters!
One for the books today! San and I headed out during fall for a midday run with partly cloudy skies and storms brewing on the horizon. The Kaveri River Basin offered solid water conditions despite the changing weather patterns, making it perfect for our backcountry fishing adventure with Ray Chaters.
With our gear rigged and ready, we targeted the productive waters where mahi mahi move through this productive basin. The backcountry setup in this area works well because the structure and current breaks hold these common dolphinfish consistently. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around!
