Pooja and our group had hardly settled in before the first great barracuda hit. The way those fish exploded from the depths was something to behold, their shimmering silver bodies cutting through the waves in a dazzling display. Pooja handled the rod like a pro, her eyes narrowed in concentration as she fought to reel the barracuda in. When she finally brought it aboard, the look of pure joy on her face said it all - this was why we were out here.

As the morning wore on, the action just kept building. We switched up our techniques, trying everything from deep sea jigging to classic trolling, and the results were incredible. A massive cobia came crashing to the surface, putting up an epic battle that had us all cheering. And when Pooja sank the hook into a beautiful Chinook salmon, the whole boat erupted in celebration.
