Shrunga and crew crush pike with multiple techniques at Butler!
Non-stop bites all day long! Shrunga and I headed out this fall afternoon for some backcountry fishing around Butler Beach. We started around midday with perfect conditions before the sky started becoming cloudy in the afternoon, but that didn't slow us down one bit! The water around Butler Beach was holding fish, and we were ready to put some bent rods together.
With our gear rigged and ready, we worked through fly fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing to see what the Northern Pike were wanting. Butler Beach is perfect for this kind of backcountry action because y'all can switch up techniques and find what's working! The pike were definitely cruisin' the flats and ready to eat. We wrapped up the trip with tight lines and smiles all around!
