Shark Encounter and Backcountry Adventure in Butler Beach

Another fun day out on the water with Anoosha in Butler Beach! We headed out a bit later in the day, around 10:45 PM, but the clear conditions throughout the day made it a great time to hit the BackCountry.

As soon as we got our lines in the water, the action started—we hooked into an Atlantic sharpnose shark that really put up a fight. Anoosha handled it like a pro, keeping cool and working the fish in skillfully. That was definitely the highlight of the trip for me—there's nothing quite like the raw power and acrobatics of a shark on the line.

Though we didn't manage to land any other big prizes, we still had a great time out on the water, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and good company. Butler Beach is always a treat, and this time of year is perfect for targeting the BackCountry species. The clear conditions made it easy to spot baitfish and other signs of life, keeping us on our toes and engaged throughout the trip.
