Adrenaline-Fueled Flats Adventure: Sailfish Sightings & More

It was an exciting day out on the Florida flats, chasing some of the most incredible game fish around. As a guide with Ray Charters, I was thrilled to take Shrunga out for a Butter Beach Excursion—an amazing fishing trip that would put us in prime position to target some serious trophy Atlantic Sailfish.

April is an incredible time to be out on the flats in this area, with warming waters bringing the big pelagic species closer to the shoreline. In between Sailfish, we also managed a few other species, including some solid inshore targets that gave us a nice variety.
